Dog Training
Dog training by our members represents broad and diverse methodologies, each designed to help foster a healthy relationship with your pet. Our dog training professionals work with all breeds and ages, some in home and some at training facilities. Everything from simple puppy housebreaking / house training, to advanced canine obedience training is provided through our membership.
Early socialization for puppies, followed by formal obedience training, is an investment in the relationship you share with your pet. Once you experience life with a well behaved, happy, and respectful companion, you'll find it hard to imagine life otherwise. Our trainers are renowned for professionalism, results, and safe, humane, effective teaching methods.

If you are a professional dog trainer or considering a career in this exciting field; membership provides networking, education and access to a broad knowledge base. Many IACP members have received local as well as national awards. Joining today can be a great start to future dog training success.

Grooming, Dog Walking, Pet Sitters

Many canine professionals work to provide other services for pet owners. If you are in need of grooming services, dog walking help, or a pet sitter, IACP professionals will help assure your pet is "in safe hands". Our groomers, dog walkers, and pet sitters understand the benefits of belonging to an established international organization dedicated to professionalism and excellence. Their membership provides a broad range of resources, helping them provide a superior service experience to owners and their dogs.

Kennel and Boarding Services
IACP members also provide kennel and boarding services, many providing dog training as well. In such cases, you can send your dog to school while you enjoy a vacation. Even if training is not needed, boarding your dog at a facility associated with a professional international organization can help assure owners their pets welfare will be a priority while they are away.
Boundary Fence Services and Training
Pet safety is important to all pet owners. Safe and effective boundary training services can provide owners with peace of mind when their dogs are outdoors. Our members represent numerous local providers than can help owners by installing boundary fences and training dogs on these systems. Boundary fences can provide your dog with freedom while assuring its safety.

Veterinarian Professionals
Vet Techs and Veterinarians are among our members. Although the IACP was founded by dog trainers, many other canine professionals have seen benefits to joining our organization to develop a broader view of and network in delivering health care services to dogs. Rather than having behavioral issues being sent back and forth between a Veterinarian and Dog Trainer, the IACP seeks to develop stronger ties between these professions so that owners can find appropriate solutions when needed in a quick and economical manner. Veterinarians, Vet Techs and Dog Trainers all benefit when networking together.
